Lung Cancer Support Community (LCSC) was the first organization solely dedicated to giving support to anyone affected by lung cancer.
As the largest and most complete online lung cancer support community of its kind, LCSC is now under the LUNGevity Foundation umbrella to continue supporting those affected by lung cancer, to bring members the latest lung cancer information, 24 hour online support, a telephone buddy program, a card circle program, your own personal CarePages webpage to blog your cancer journey, and lung cancer advocacy opportunities that fund lung cancer research thru LUNGevity Foundation!
LUNGevity Foundation extends its support to anyone affected by a lung cancer diagnosis, from funding cutting-edge research focused on finding a CURE, to providing personal support for their emotional needs thru these LCSC message boards.
Thanks to the LUNGevity Foundation, LCSC can continue to offer lung cancer survivors, caregivers and family members a place to support each other in an open forum venue!

Lung Cancer Support Community (LCSC) was originally created by Rick and Katie Brown in October of 2002 after the lung cancer diagnosis of Katie's father, Jessee Dewey. The goal of LCSC has been to provide the best lung cancer center on the web to foster hope and give support to anyone affected by a lung cancer diagnosis.
In August 2006, LCSC became a service of LUNGevity Foundation with Katie Brown as Director of LCSC.
There ARE survivors of this disease. Regardless of the statistics, you can connect with other people who are defying the odds, learn about their treatments, their successes and disappointments. You can find the support you deserve right here.
